Designated Driver Service
The Pear offers Pittsburgh's safest and cheapest round-trip means of transportation for any night out on the town.
We charge a $20.00 fixed fee + $2.00 per mile.
This table shows a quick round-trip rate comparison between The Pear and a few of Pittsburgh's other transportation options. All rates assume a 10 mile trip.
Using The Pear eliminates the need to pay a round-trip fare. Since you'll have the freedom of driving your own vehicle to your destination, your "pear fare" will only consist of the return trip home.
Taxi rates are estimated by various Pittsburgh taxi companies, and assume round-trip fares. Surcharges are excluded in estimates.

Personal Chauffeur Service
The Pear charges $25 per hour for our personal chauffeur service. A minimum booking of 3 hours is required.

While most of our trips are within Allegheny County, we will drive our customers to any distance within reason.
A surcharge will be added to trips with pick-ups or destinations outside of our standard service area.
